No Death Achievements[]

The "Defeated" screen does not prevent you from getting the achievement. You can die countless times in each chapter, and when you do you don't have to restart from chapter select screen, just go on until you reach the last checkpoint (boss). Only now you have to quit the game and restart from chapter select screen when you die, which will spawn you at the boss checkpoint. Technically that's all the game wants you to do. Selecting a chapter and finishing it without dying, only in this case it is just the boss part. This means you have infinite attempts at bringing down each of the bosses, especially useful for Cthulhu.

Mission improbable[]

I tried replaying an adventure I'd beaten, my replay took ~ 2 hours but I didn't get the achievement. Then I started a brand new game, took 2 hours, and got it. This led me to note that you need a save file showing only 4 hours or less.

Please confirm.
Yeah. I had the same problem but afaik you need to do it on a new game. This worked for me.

"The Stars Are Left" also counts for "Mission improbable". I finished it in 3:55 h and after the credits it popped up.

Importing from the forums[]

I think it would be great to have the info from this forum page accessible from the wiki in a nicer markup (of course with credit to creator). Do you agree? --XKCD 17:25, 29 January 2011 (PST)

Linking bosses/characters/items/magicks/elements[]

I was unsure if I could do this because I have no idea what the rules are on this site, it this was my own site I would link e.g. Assatur to the boss page. But I'm not sure if I am allowed. However I did link MacLeod to see if it worked. Any heads up would be nice! :) (I am completely new to the whole pedia community, I have learned some thing by looking though edit on some pages) --Saucy 11:54, 31 January 2011 (PST)

References?[]

Each achievement seem to be a reference to something, shouldn't this be detailed? for example, "I put on my robe and wizard hat" is a reference to the father of trolling, Bloodninja. I suspect "State Alchemist" is a reference to Fullmetal Alchemist. You also have the "Let off some steam" steamworks reference, and so on and so forth. I think a new Achievements section on Dialogue References would be a good idea. — Toshu (talk) 03:12, 1 February 2011 (PST)

Steam Statistics[]

Is it ok to add a link to the Steam Statistics for Magicka? http://steamcommunity.com/stats/Magicka/achievements LordJakson 04:57, 4 February 2011 (PST)
