New features[edit | edit source]

  • Activated real money transactions.
  • Dying from different sources now trigger unique death animations and effects! New ones include death from Fire, Cold, Lightning, Face-planting and while being in Knockdown. We also have proper death animations when dying from falling damage or when knocked down.

Tutorial[edit | edit source]

  • Added more tasks to complete after pressing Play that teaches how to defend and use melee.

Reward System[edit | edit source]

  • Players now get the "match won"-multiplier.
  • Increased "XP over time"-rewards in Duel game mode.
  • Removed "round win" and "additional round win" rewards, increased capture reward, decreased time-based crown reward.
  • Duel now displays the correct team score in reward screen.

Spell changes[edit | edit source]

New Burning system[edit | edit source]

  • Burning now wears down in damage over time at a set rate and refreshes every time you take fire damage.
  • Refreshed Burning deals 60 Fire damage per second, ramps down to 40 after 2 seconds since ignition, and then to 20 after 4 seconds (since ignition). Burns out after 6 seconds. No affinity affection as of yet.

New Life Ward Regen[edit | edit source]

  • Life Wards now give you a small Heal over Time while making you immune to other forms of healing.
  • A double Life Ward grants 50 HP per second (affinity grants +-40HP on the different ends of the scale), while a single Ward grants 25 HP per second for 14 seconds.

Tweaks to Shield Affinity[edit | edit source]

  • Removed Shield Affinity's increase of base damage resistance and replaced it with a multiplier for single Wards resistances.
  • Shield Affinity now gives 25% bonus to single Wards at 100 Affinity. Ergo one Fire Ward makes you receive 0,375 damage instead of 0,5.

Other[edit | edit source]

  • Barriers, mines and elemental walls will now always override each other when overlapping, even when cast in rapid succession.
  • Ice projectiles now give Wet (QQR) and Chilled (QRR) status effects.
  • Increased Self-Electrocution damage from 250 Lightning to 300.

Balance[edit | edit source]

AoE[edit | edit source]

  • Fire damage reduced from 125 to 115.
  • Cold damage increased from 35 to 45.

Lightning AoE[edit | edit source]

  • Lightning damage reduced from 45 to 40.
  • Death damage increased from 40 to 45.
  • Cold damage increased from 30 to 55.

Sprays[edit | edit source]

  • Fire damage decreased from 180 to 160.
  • Cold damage increased from 55 to 80.
  • Sprays now have 4 ticks/second instead of 6, to decrease damage number spam, DPS remains the same.

Earth Projectiles[edit | edit source]

  • Life "damage" increased on max charged projectiles from 200 to 300 on magnitude 1, and from 250 to 400 on magnitude 2.

Lightning Bolts[edit | edit source]

  • Lightning damage reduced from 45 to 40.
  • Cold damage increased from 40 to 50.
  • Chain lightning bounce arc reduced from 179 to 120 degrees.
  • Range kept per lightning bounce changed from 0.65 to 0.5.

Barriers[edit | edit source]

  • Cold damage increased from 50 to 70.

Storms[edit | edit source]

  • EA Lightning damage changed from 65 to 80, EAA from 60 to 75.
  • EAR's Cold damage changed from 25 to 30, and Lightning damage from 30 to 35.
  • EAW's Life and Life healing changed from 30 to 35.
  • EF's Fire damage changed from 40 to 80, and EFF's from 20 to 40.
  • ER's Cold damage changed from 40 to 45 and ERR's Cold damage from 25 to 35.
  • EQF's Steam damage changed from 75 to 100.

Mines[edit | edit source]

  • Death damage reduced from 165 to 130.
  • Fire damage decreased from 155 to 100.
  • Cold damage increased from 50 to 70.

Error Handling[edit | edit source]

  • Changed duplicate Chipmunk error to Marlin.

Gear[edit | edit source]

  • Increased Wuxia robe stats to match Speedster robe.
  • Robes stats re-balanced across the board. The versions you have been playing with up until now have been boosted artificially high for testing purposes. They are now more in line with how we would like to see things going forward.

Sounds[edit | edit source]

  • Tweaked projectile sounds to be more in tune with the charge level.
  • Removed double triggering of all Ward sounds.
  • New sound for Earth Wards.

Magicks[edit | edit source]

  • Magicks can now be queued during melee attacks.
  • Mighty hail shatter fixes.
  • Kills and score now granted properly for falling damage kills.

Bugfixes[edit | edit source]

  • Duel revive round win score glitch fix.
  • Don't allow push or elevate damage to affect invulnerable players.
  • No longer crashes when EAC verification fails.
  • Rewards now have less (well none actually) decimals for granted crowns.
  • ELO fix for new accounts.
  • Fixed a random CTD when players breaks barrels.
  • Client telemetry crash fix.
  • Being knocked down whilst Chilled will now result in a fall with normal speed.
  • Earth projectiles should no longer slide past frozen players if they have high Earth Affinity.
  • Lightning isn't blocked by elemental walls. Lightning is supposed to be blocked by Earth Barriers primarily.
  • Fix occasional faulty visual effects on elemental wall units.
  • Heal bucket overflow GS crash fix.
  • AI's are now properly knocked down by !DRX.
  • Fixed so that all staff particle effects are cancelled when a players is gibbed.
  • Fixed a crash on the game server when receiving user data after the server has failed to gather enough players.
  • Tornado crash fix.
  • AI projectile telemetry crash fix.
