Usually jump across the map towards the wizard. Occasionally they will sidestep attacks. Boulders (Earth (D)x5) are very effective against them - easy to cast and killing them with one blow. It's better to ceep close to them as it prevents them from jumping and allows to use AoE spells.

Thery behave like regular beast raiders, but they have water or lightning resistance aura. This doens't protect them from boulders, but makes nearby monsters resistant to these elements and thus can interrupt strategies.

They move slowly but perform a charge when the wizard goes to close, sending him flying and heavily damaging (often killing). This forces the wizard to keep at a distance and interrupts fighting with raiders. Shields and earth walls (Shield (E)Earth (D)) can be and effective way of protection against charging, and also good method of attacking when the walls are enhanced with some damaging elements (Fire (F)Fire (F)Earth (D)Earth (D)Shield (E) is a strong spell).

They behave exactly like beast brutes, but their enchanted tattoos give them an aura of resistance to either fire, lightning or physical damage. This makes them and monsters around harder to kill, so they are a high-priority target. A high-priority target which is sometimes resistant to fire damage (Fire (F)Fire (F)Earth (D)Earth (D)Shield (E))!
