Usually come in swarms, un-burrowing or climbing towards the players when they walk too close. Their low health makes them easy to deal with.

Poison spiders are like giant spiders, but they use long-range attacks. They spit poison on you repeatedly until slain.
Strategies[ | ]
Use a 
to prevent yourself from being poisoned, then choose your choice of attack (just about anything will work).
If you happen to be poision a simple healing spell will cure you.
Another tactic is to cast an Earthquake (
+ shift) with a Fire element 
to knock them back and cause damage at the same time. This tactic will take a long time however the spiders can not attack you as they as they are being knocked back. The more Fire the stronger the spell.
